Meek Mill Denied Early Parole

Posted: August 19, 2014 in Uncategorized

According to MTV News, Philadelphia judge Genece E. Brinkley denied Meek Mill’s request on Monday (Aug.18). He argued that he was improperly accused of violating his probation stemming from a 2009 drug and gun case. The district attorney said Meek tested positive for drugs and he found an Instagram photo of the ‘Dreams and Nightmares’ creator posing with a gun. The defense contested that the gun could’ve been a prop and the drugs were prescribed,

Meek Mills defense team plans to take the case to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Before he is let out of jail after it is all said and done, Meek will have to complete anger management and parenting classes and seek drug and alcohol treatment. He will be forced to do his full six-month sentence if he doesn’t complete the court-ordered programs.
